SBL’s R & D wing offers a cardiac tonic “Convocard” which tones up heart muscles, improves coronary and peripheral circulation, relieves breathlessness, palpitation & tachycardia, halts the pace of arteriosclerosis and increases effort tolerance. Convocard is extremely useful as a preventive and adjunct in cardiac treatment.

Composition & Action of individual ingredients:

Ban-sangli (Crataegus oxyacantha)	Cardiac tonic, coronary vasodilator, arteriosclerosis, angina, tachycardia, dyspnoea
Mahashivi (Canavalia gladiata)	General weakness of heart muscles, cardiac dropsy, dyspnoea, poor heart functioning
Sugandhbala (Valeriana wallichii)	Nervous affection with accelerated pulse, insomnia, sudden sinking sensation
Strophanthus (Strophanthus kombe olia)	Weak heart action due to muscular debility, heart cases complicated with dropsy, in alcoholic hearts, palpitation with breathlessness, rapid irregular pulse.
Karpura (Cinnamomum camphora)	Heart stimulant, in shock and poor circulation, sudden sinking of heart, weak pulse

Indications:
