Haridra (Curcuma longa)	Potent anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic, cough, dyspnoea
Som (Ephedra vulgaris)	Potent anti- inflammatory, helps in controlling asthma
Karpurkachri (Hedychium spicatum)	Useful in asthma, especially in eosinophilia
Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)	An expectorant, useful for relieving asthma.
Talisadi churna	Useful in asthma
Shwas kuthar ras	Helps expectoration by liquefying the accumulated mucous, asthma

Clinically proven:
The study was conducted by Dr. A.K. Bhandari, BAMS, Delhi. Respiwin was found to be very effective in controlling symptoms of dyspnoea, cough, wheezing, in cases of asthma.
